wiifit4 Dance, Dance Wii Fit! We all remember the craze that surrounded Dance Dance Revolution and the incredible stories of weight loss that accompanied it, but now there’s something else to give exercise gaming a new routine. Nintendo comes out with the Wii Fit this week for its Wii console!

For those who don’t want to “dance, dance,” Wii Fit has a number of other fun features like yoga poses, aerobic exercises, and a wide variety of muscle training workouts. If that still doesn’t sound appealing then how about hula hooping or bouncing soccer balls from your head?

What’s also neat is that Wii Fit also has a fitness tracking feature can be used to track a user’s body mass index (BMI) and fitness based on their age and their performance in a series of tests in the game. This means that whether players are using the game to get them in shape or going out of the house to exercise, they can still use the console to track and monitor their fitness.

The game seems like a great motivation to exercise, especially on days when we don’t want to drive to the gym. It’s being sold for $90, and of course, has to be used with the Nitendo Will console which is listed for $249. It seems like a hefty investment, but think about how much yoga classes and yoga tapes can cost. If you’re not already doing some sort of regular exercise routine, then this is a great investment to keep you motivated and interested in exercise!
