I don’t need a lot of diamonds but I do appreciate classic pieces of jewelry that I can wear daily or on an evening out. As Rachel Zoe mentioned in her book, having the classic essentials are more important than the big bling-bling.
After looking around for basic pieces, I fell across Diamonds International, a jewelry industry that guarantees conflict-free diamonds. Their diamonds have the Kimberley Process certificate to indicate that the gems were not minded from conflict zones. Here are some simple and timeless pieces I thought you might enjoy:
These princess cut studs are a simple half carat each, so it’s not too gaudy and you can wear every day.

If you can’t afford something as extravagant as diamonds, even some simple studs made of metal are fine. Remember, it is all about what makes you feel beautiful, regardless of how much you spend. In the end, no one really cares as long as you’re happy!
