Fashion is a statement of what makes you feel comfortable and adore every moment of dressing up. That’s what makes most of us fashionistas enjoy the art of putting eclectic pieces of clothing together. Yes, it’s considered “girly,” but it’s actually an art. You are able to express yourself visually. Fashion should be fun so don’t get too serious about it! In fact, there shouldn’t be rules or trends to follow. We see designer this, designer that, and can’t help but wish to be able to afford clothes, handbags and shoes that can burn a hole in our wallet. Though designer trends are much appreciated, don’t forget to use your own creativity to keep your fashion sense fresh. More importantly, don’t be scared to break a few rules and add your own flair to turn some heads.

If you are still not confident, we suggest the following rule breakers to create an individualized look:

  1. Add a bright color to pump up your basic wardrobe.
  2. Use a large scarf/shawl and make it into your own shirt!
  3. Precious gem + lovely chain = a memorable decoration!
  4. Mix and match high-end with low-end fashions
  5. Layer your tops and layer your jewelry for an immediate statement
