Natalie Portman teamed with Te Casan last year to make eco-friendly shoes, and since then, other designers have followed suit.

Melissa Shoes are an eco-friendly Brazilian shoe line made of patented Melflex plastic.  The material is hypoallergenic and keeps your feet smelling fresh.  I own their Ultra girl flats in red velvet with a very light sprinkling of glitter with a mini peeptoe.  Super girly, super comfortable, and super cute.


OlsenHaus is another vegan brand of shoes that are more funky, with original designs such as these Italian suede boots with paint splatter.  I love their fair trade principles as well as their embellishments and quirky designs.  They have heels, wedges and flats, and they will be truly conversation starters wherever you go.

Rickard Shah PURE shoe line stands for Promoting Use of Renewable Energy, and are made of environmentally-friendly rubber soles, natural dyes, and water-based glue.

Neuaura is a shoe line focused all about eco-friendly methods to produce shoes, from efficient packing of shoeboxes, to the use of cruelty-free products that do not include any leather, fur, silk, wool, shell or pearls.

Eco-friendly can now mean fashion forward.
