There are a million types of moisturizers for the face, and with summer looming over us, here are my top picks

I love Creme de La Mer. This is my ultimate moisturizer, as I have noted before. It is on the heavier side, but even my oily skin handles it well. My complexion has improved so much after I switched to this brand, so this is my personal favorite. 2oz. for $220

The Ultimate Moisturizer

lm2 The Ultimate MoisturizerCreme de la Mer contains rich ingredients that leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized.

I have been using Creme de La Mer for over a year now and absolutely love this moisturizer!

It was developed by an aerospace physicist Dr. Max Huber over forty years ago. Supposedly, he was severely burned after an explosion in his lab, and spent twelve years and about 6,000 experiments to develop Creme de la Mer. This product is nutrient-rich and highly potent, which takes an intensive 3 to 4 months to distill and bioferment. Users swear by it and it is said to miraculously soften, firm, and decrease the creases and lines of complexions. Celebrities such as Heather Locklear claim they love it so much they use it for their entire body.

Since using it, I have noticed a huge difference in my skin- my complexion is more clear, the skin tone is even, and for the first winter ever, I did not have flaky, dry skin.

Creme de la Mer comes at a price: one ounce is already $125. Two oz is $225, and you can get a lifetime supply of 16.5 oz for $1350. It comes in a glass container, which prevents heating or any light to enter the product. If unopened, it doesn’t have an expiration date, or so said the sales rep at Neiman Marcus. A 2oz supply goes a long way though. It’s been over a year and I’m still using the first one I purchased. This product can be found at Saks, Neiman Marcus, duty free shops at LAX, and online.
